LEHNER AgroDos® granule spreader – precise application in potato cultivation

The AgroDos® granule spreader from LEHNER was developed for targeted use in potato cultivation. It enables controlled application of granules and supports even distribution directly during the work process. The technology is aimed at farms that value traceable results and clean application.

What makes the AgroDos® stand out in use?

At its core is the cell wheel metering unit, which enables very fine dosing. It is complemented by the automatic reversing function: when switched off, the system briefly turns back so that no material continues to run unintentionally. This ensures clear transitions, for example when turning or lifting the machine.

How is the application rate controlled?

The rate is regulated via the speed of the cell wheel metering unit and can be adjusted flexibly. This allows the spreader to be adapted to different requirements, such as changing granules or field conditions.

How does operation work in everyday use?

Control is carried out via an operating unit in the tractor cab with a clear display. Settings such as start and stop, application rate or row spacing can be made directly. Calibration tests can also be saved, which saves time for recurring applications.

When does the spreader start and stop automatically?

The AgroDos® is coupled with a monitoring system that detects whether the implement is raised or lowered. Application only takes place while driving and when the machine is lowered. When it is lifted, the system stops automatically – reducing missed spots and overlaps.

What applications is the system intended for?

It is used mainly in potato cultivation, particularly for applying crop protection granules. Depending on the setup, the spreader can be integrated into various machines and can also be incorporated into multi-row systems.

Is the AgroDos® tested?

The granule spreader has been tested by the Julius Kühn Institute (JKI). It therefore meets the requirements for equipment used in the field of crop protection.

What is included in the equipment?

The scope of delivery includes, among other things, distribution elements, hoses and connection cables. This allows the spreader to be integrated into existing technology and put into operation directly.

Who is the AgroDos® suitable for?

The spreader is intended for farms and contractors that apply granules in potato cultivation. It is especially useful where clean work is required – with no trickling after shut-off, no overlaps and with settings that can be retrieved in exactly the same way for the next use.
